To improve its position on the market of special surveying services, our partner Gemetris SA in Chexbres strengthened its ties to IG Group SA in Sion. This resulted in March 2017 in the foundation of the new company IGemetris Technologies SA (IGT) with headquarters in Chexbres and a branch in Sion.

 

The main activities of the company are geodetic and geotechnical measurements in the fields of special civil engineering as well as in road and track construction. In addition, it offers services of geomonitoring, deformation monitoring in construction engineering, monitoring of landslides and industrial surveying. The company is active in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, the Upper and Lower Valais and the border area in France.

HMQ AG is an engineering office in the field of surveying, geoinformation, construction engineering and planning. Its main objective is to provide a versatile and comprehensive range of services, using the latest technology.

The LUCCHINI & LIPPUNER SA Engineering and Measurement Office, based in Lugano-Viganello and Bironico, operates in the fields of cadastral surveying and engineering.

 

The company, founded in 2000, currently has a staff of 21 employees, among whom there are a certified surveyor, geomatic engineers, environmental engineers as well as cadastral and geomatical technicians.

Cooperation with the FHNW instituts Virtual Design Construction and Geomatics for a Bachelor Thesis on "Erstellen eines digitalen Zwillings des Versuchsstollens Hagerbach mittels des BIMAGE Backpacks und anderer 3D Sensoren und -Plattformen", the Master Thesis on "Scan-to-BIM" and a student block course on Laser Scanning in the Hagerbach test gallery with the focus on generating a virtual twin of the hagerbach test gallery.

ZHAW - Institute of Mechatronic Systems (IMS)

ARTIS - Advanced Rail Track Information System: The goal of the ARTIS project is the development of an advanced real-time data acquisition and processing system for 2D and 3D data in the context of track surveying applications. The ARTIS system leverages existing track surveying applications by introducing a higher level of automatization. The project started in June 2015 with a duration of two years and is carried out in cooperation with Amberg Technologies.

SIBS - Safety assessment of existing retaining structures: The main objective of the research project SIBS is to develop new and expedient methods for the safety assessment of existing anchored and unanchored retaining structures. These advanced methods can be used to an increase the object safety and operability due to a safety assessment and enable the effective and economic design and execution of maintenance and remediation methods.
