Amberg Onboard Inspection System
Amberg OIS is a portfolio of vehicle-mounted systems for high-speed tunnel inspection. Designed for deployment on in-service trains and dedicated inspection vehicles, it combines 3D laser scanning and panoramic line-scan imaging to capture detailed tunnel condition data with minimal impact on railway operations.
The portfolio combines two complementary systems: Amberg OIS Lux captures high-density 3D data for tunnel geometry and structural assessment, while Amberg OIS Vision provides continuous panoramic imagery for lining condition and defect inspection. Used individually or together, the systems deliver spatially and chainage-referenced information that supports condition assessment, maintenance planning and long-term asset management.
