Amberg TrackControl is the new innovative monitoring solution for railway tracks assuring highest reliability and safety.

Amberg TrackControl monitors all safety-relevant track parameters such as superelevation, twist and vertical versine  ̶  regardless of the weather conditions and in a high interval of one minute.

In combination with a GNSS- or Tachymeter-monitoring,  ̶  control points at the end of each TrackControl chain  ̶  the absolute height of the tracks will be detected.

Benefit from:

  • High reliability
  • No atmospheric interferences because of rain, fog, snow or dew
  • Safety and alarming due to 1-minute interval
  • Real-Time visualization of the results on web platform Amberg GEOvis
  • Opportunity of data export into another online portal

  • Construction sites in track area
  • Microtunneling under the tracks
  • Railway tracks in critical areas (e.g. landslide)

  • Uniaxial and biaxial slope sensors
  •  Temperature adjusted
  •  Permanent Internet connection
  • +/- 0.5 mm Superelevation (cant)
  • +/- 0.2 0/00 Twist
  • +/- 1.0 mm vertical versine (basis of 9.6 m)
  • +/- 3.5 mm vertical settlement (Measurement chain of 56 m)
  • The Amberg TrackControl Basic-Module has a length of 56 m and contains 48 longitudinal, 12 transversal slope sensors and optional 4 sensors for mast tilt measurements (biaxial)
  • The Basic-Module can be expanded with maximum 5 Extension-Modules (56m) to monitor track sections with a length of approx. 340 m
  • The height of start and end point of each module must be known for absolute settlement results, e.g. measured with GNSS or Total Station
